The rights to Damon Dash's life story have sold for $550,000 in his Florida bankruptcy case. Everlasting Films, which opened the bidding with a $37,000 offer, won the auction, held October 1, and the trustee reported it complete on October 21.

The sale also includes about 100 hours of video, photographs and memorabilia, plus rights to an unreleased documentary or film project.

The money goes to Dash's creditors. He filed for bankruptcy in September 2025, listing $25 million in debt. Trustee Traci K. Stevenson had noted that his life rights were not listed among his assets despite their "evident value in light of the Debtor's public profile."
