A Delaware judge has ordered Faith Evans, who manages The Notorious B.I.G.'s intellectual property, to pay $12,518,336 in estate profits to the Voletta Wallace Revocable Trust. With interest, the total comes to nearly $14 million.

The October 27 ruling by Chancellor Kathaleen St. J. McCormick of the Court of Chancery resolves a suit filed in July 2025 by Wayne Barrow, the late rapper's manager and trustee of his mother's estate. Barrow argued the trust was owed a 25% share of estate revenue, including income from a catalog deal with Primary Wave Music.

McCormick held that the trust's rights began when Voletta Wallace died on February 21, 2025. "All economic rights associated with Ms. Wallace's member interest in the LLC transferred to her estate upon her death," she wrote.

Under Voletta Wallace's will, the money goes to the Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation. A separate case in Pennsylvania, brought by Christopher "CJ" Wallace Jr. over late changes to his grandmother's will, is ongoing.
